KSRM organized a talk on Agri input Industry.

KIIT School of Rural Management organized a talk for the students of MBA (Agribusiness Management and MBA (Rural Management) on 18.10.2022.

The speaker was  Mr. Savesh Kumar, Head Field Marketing UPL, India. The other speakers in the talk were Mr. Vivek Singh (HR Lead UPL),  Mr. Jyoti Ranjan Senapati (Area Sales Manager UPL),  Ms. Priyanka Mohanty (Territory Sales Manager) and Mr. Biswajeet Mohapatra (Territory Sales Manager).

Mr. Savesh Kumar  spoke about challenges in agriculture, agri-input sector and the opportunities available in the sector. He then elaborated about the work done and contribution made by UPL in input sector, its various divisions, global outreach and turnover of the company. Besides, Mr. Kumar also shared about the other initiatives supported by UPL in the area of sports be it IPL or FIFA World cup.  Mr. Vivek Singh explained about  the career prospects in UPL , especially for female candidates, where they are recruiting a greater number of female candidates for the sales and marketing field to change the perspective of the society. Mr. Jyoti Ranjan Senapati and Ms. Priyanka Mohanty also interacted with the students and shared about their experience of working in UPL.
