Eligibility:

KSRM is looking for candidates with a consistently good academic record, professional accomplishments and a strong urge to contribute to knowledge creation and dissemination in the field of Agriculture and Rural management. The admission for the Ph.D. Programme will be in accordance with the rules and clauses of the Ph.D. regulations of the University. The eligibility criteria for applying into the programme :

MBA-RM or ABM/M.Tech./ME /MCA /MBA/ or an equivalent master degree with minimum 60% marks or an equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA). Or M.Sc./MA/M.Com./LLM or an equivalent degree with minimum 55% marks or an equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA)

Or

BSc(Ag or Agtech)/B.Tech./ BE or an equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA). A valid GATE score is essential for students having B.Tech./ BE degree.

All the working executives will also have to furnish a “NO Objection Certificate” from the Employer in addition to all other academic documents.

Selection Process

Selection to the doctoral programme will be based on the performance in the written test, career marks and personal interview.

Application Process:

Option 1. Candidates need to take the written test conducted by KIIT University, i.e.KIITEE.

Option 2. Candidates with valid UGC-NET score need not appear for KIITEE . Such candidates can directly apply to KSRM with their UGC-NET Score

Career Marks:

All candidates are expected to have good academic performance in their career. Due weight-age will be given in the final selection.

Personal Interview:

All short listed candidates (based on score in the written test and career marks) will be called for a personal interview before a panel of members. The candidates are expected to come prepared with a researchable issue and associated insights.

Fee Structure

One -Time Payment(Which includes course work fees, semester fees & thesis submission fees ): Rs 2, 50,000/-

Fellowship for full time scholars

Limited number of fellowships is available for scholars with outstanding academic record and performance in the selection process. The students shall be provided with financial assistance of Rs 25,000 as scholarship, for a maximum period of four years. The grant of financial assistance will be subject to satisfactory progress in the programme.
