Mr. Debraj Behera, International Consultant (Rural Livelihoods Specialist), Food and Agriculture Organizations (FAO) of the United Nations delivered a talk on “Role of Rural Managers”on 20th July, 2019. He inspired the students to be a change manager by working at the grassroots level in rural India. He also shared his views on challenging careers and opportunities in the development sector for young managers.

Mr. Debraj Behera holds a degree in Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) from Institute of Rural Management Anand and B.Sc.( Ag) from OUAT. Prior to joining FAO, he worked as a consultant of Global Food and Agriculture Practice (GFADR), The World Bank; National Mission Manager (Livelihoods & Environment), NRLM and; State Project Manager (Livelihoods), Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society.
