The speaker for the talk was Mr. Akram Khan, MBA (RM) batch of 2017-19. He is presently working as senior manager in ICICI Lombard. Earlier he had worked in Arohan Financial Services Limited.

Mr. Akram Khan, in his talk, spoke about the basic concepts of microfinance and its key features.  He discussed about performance  indicators like client outreach, women clients and the top ten MFIs.  He shared about the different trends among rural –urban  MFI borrowers.  Mr. Akram Khan  also gave an overview on the internships for the students at KSRM, especially the case study segment. He also guided the students on to how to go about in the internship and optimize the learning experience in these field segments.
