Mr. Bibudatta Mishra, Regional Sales Manager ( Field Crop), Odisha, Pan Seeds Pvt Ltd was the speaker for the talk. He has more than two decades of experience in the agri input sector. He had earlier worked with Pioneer seeds and has also experience in sugar industry. Mr. Mishra holds a degree in MBA from Sikkim Manipal University.
In his talk, Mr. Bibhudatta Mishra spoke about channel management and group selling skills. He shared that it is very crucial to understand the weakest link in the channel and focus on strengthening it by extending the reach and gaining more depth. He deliberated on two skill sets i.e. effective listening skill and making the right kind of pitch. Based on his expertise in the sector, Mr. Mishra elaborated the different steps involved in the group selling skills. He then shared about the scope in the input industry. Mr. Mishra also emphasized that hard work and long term commitment are key to success in the sector.
