KSRM Organised a Guest Talk on “Incubation and Innovation Ecosystem Development for Entrepreneurs and Enterprises in Tier 2/3 Districts.”

A guest talk was organized by KSRM on 18^th July 2024 on the topic “Incubation and Innovation Ecosystem Development for Entrepreneurs and Enterprises in Tier 2/3 Districts.”

The speaker for the talk was Mr. Anurag Dixit, COO, Jagriti Enterprise Centre – Purvanchal.

Mr. Anurag had previously served philanthropic organizations and foundations as a social impact consultant. He was involved with social sector organizations such as The/Nudge and TechnoServe in senior roles. He also had 7 years of business consulting experience with PwC and then a boutique strategy consulting firm prior to venturing into the social sector in 2012. Mr. Anurag holds a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur.

In the talk, Mr. Anurag shared his insights on fostering entrepreneurship and the importance of robust support systems in tier 2/3 districts. He highlighted the impact of initiatives like Jagriti Yatra and the Banyan Revolution. Mr. Anurag discussed strategies for nurturing startups, digitalization of small enterprises, promoting women-led models, and fostering local innovation. He further emphasized Jagriti’s focus on sustainable biodiversity and waste management.
