The Marketing Club of KIIT School of Rural Management (KSRM) successfully conducted “Crisis Conquerors” on April 7, 2025—an engaging marketing challenge designed to blend concept revision with stress relief ahead of exams. The event drew participation from 77 MBA students, eager to put their marketing knowledge to the test.

The competition began at 4:30 PM with an online prelims round featuring 30 rapid-fire multiple-choice questions. Based on accuracy and response time, the top 14 participants moved to the finals, forming seven teams of two.

In the final round, each team was presented with a real-life business crisis and given 30 minutes to craft a solution, presented through a 3-slide PowerPoint deck. The presentations were evaluated by a faculty jury on parameters of creativity, strategic clarity, and practical application.

After a closely contested round of presentations:

  • Debadata Satapathy and Mariam Khora were declared winners
  • T. Rahul and Sunita Dhal took the second place
  • Priti Bagchi and Tara Akash Patri secured the third position

The event concluded with an awards ceremony, graced by the Director and Dean of the School of  Rural Management, who presented prizes and certificates to the winners and finalists. The event wrapped up over tea and lively conversations, celebrating learning, collaboration, and creativity.

“Crisis Conquerors” proved to be more than just a competition—it was a platform for future-ready marketers to shine through clarity of thought, team synergy, and innovative problem-solving.
