KIIT School of Rural Management (KSRM) inaugurated the Management Development Programme (MDP) on ‘Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation Strategies for People Living with Ultra & Extreme Poverty’ on 06 August 2021 with the coordination of Prof. Damodar Jena. This programme is being conducted for the professionals of TrickleUp, an international development agency.
Sri Diganta Mohanty, Program Director of TrickleUp appreciated the effort of KSRM for organizing this event and coordinated on behalf of TrickleUp. Other dignitaries present on the occasion includes Sri Debasis Mohapatra, State Program Manager, Odisha Livelihoods Mission, Ms. Mamata Das, Managing Director, Advanex Consulting, Sri Pramod Sahu, National Resource Person for NRLM and all shared their views on climate change in the inauguration event. Other staff members who participated in the inauguration event from TrickleUp were Sri Nilanjan Chaudhuri, Sri Sudip Mukherji, Sri Tikeswar Patel, Sri Nawab Biswas, Ms. Saswati Pattnaik, Sri Debdas Majumder, Sri Sudip Das, Sri Rasmi Ranjan Behera and Sri Avinash Rath.
Sri Sushant Verma, the South Asia Head of TrickleUp attended the entire event and appreciated the efforts of KIIT University and KIIT School of Rural Management for organizing this customized event on climate change exclusively for staff members of TrickleUp and gave a special thanks to the Course Coordinator Prof Damodar Jena for all efforts in organizing the inauguration event and web based training program.
