Prof Sukumar Dash is an alumnus of the University of Delhi, having completed his post graduate studies in humanities and Management.He has been engaged in agriculture-related business and industry for the last thirty years. He has worked extensively with farmers and various export organizations in furthering the cause of agricultural exports from Odisha. His focus on farmer empowerment by creating a marketing network for agricultural produce has won him wide recognition from State and national bodies.He is the advisor of Indian oil seeds & produce export promotion council.He is also the co-convenor of agriculture & food processing at World Trade Center ,Odisha and charter president of Rotary club of Bhubaneswar Meadows. His area of specialization is  Agri Supply Chain Management, International trade,Commodity derivatives and Farmer Collectives.
