Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination in 2017,2018 or appearing in 10+2 examination in 2019 are only eligible to apply for B.Tech(4 Years) course of the University.
Should have studied in regular full time formal education in their schooling/college.
Pass in 10 +2 or its equivalent with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together.
Should have born on or after 01.07.1998.
Program Educational Objectives (PEO) :
They are expected to accomplish the following objectives in a few years after graduation:
They shall be able to exhibit core competence in mathematical, scientific, and fundamentals of engineering to formulate, analyze, and solve real-life computational problems.
They shall perceive the sound knowledge in core areas of Information Technology to comprehend engineering trade-offs and technical skill inclined towards product development, higher study, and research.
They shall be inculcated with high professionalism, ethical standards, and effective communication skills to work as an individual or part of a team in diverse professional environments related to social, economical, and emerging technologies.
Program Specific Outcomes (PSO) :
Knowledge of data management system like data acquisition, big data so as to enable students in solving problems using the techniques of data analytics like pattern recognition and knowledge discovery.
Basic knowledge in hardware/software methods and tools for solving real-life and R&D problems with an orientation to lifelong learning.
Sound knowledge base and skill sets to develop and expand professional careers in fields related to human-computer interaction and management of industrial processes for the design and implementation of intelligent systems.
All Ph.D. students are required to register and successfully complete a minimum course credits as per the Ph.D rules of the Institute, details of which will be made available to the students at the time of admission. Curriculum and syllabus will be decided by the Research Scrutiny Committee (RSC). The RSC may consider full or partial remission of course work and residential requirement as considered appropriate in deserving cases.
A candidate is required to register with a specific faculty guide in a selected area of specialization at the time of enrolling for the programme with duly filled in application form along with documents and by paying the requisite fees. On successful completion of prescribed courses the candidate gets registered with effect from the date of enrollment or a semester later depending on the candidate’s qualification (M.Tech or B.Tech) as the case may be. A similar rule will apply to M.Phil or M.Sc/M.A/M.Com/MBA/CA candidates. Subsequently, registrations are renewed at the beginning of every semester, subject to satisfactory progress in work. The prescribed fees must be paid each time as per the notifications.
Annual Process Seminar
All candidates must present the annual progress seminar each year. On successful completion of progress seminar, as certified by RSC, the registration will be renewed for the next year. The registration of non-performing candidates may be terminated after due warning.
All scholars either in the institute or externally in any industry / institute after taking admission must visit KIIT & complete registration formalities fo every semester in the month of July and January each year
