KSRM students accelerate project JYOTI at AKRSPI. The Government of India has proposed to promote skills and self employment through Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU – GKY). The scheme focuses on the rural poor youth with emphasis on sustainable employment and career progression. KSRM students documented this effort under the title “Go Getters” which is likely to accelerate the pace of implementation of the scheme and anticipated outcomes of sustainable employment. The students involved were Ankit Sukhwal and Rohit Wadgaonkar and they were mainly responsible for producing the document “Go Getters” under the umbrella of AKRSPI. The quality of documentation and presentation will surely motivate many more rural youth to get associated with this scheme.
