MBA (Rural Management) 2020-22 and MBA (Agribusiness Management) 2020-22 Batches were inaugurated by Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS in the presence of Prof. Hrushikesha Mohanty, Vice Chancellor, KIIT-DU; Prof. Sasmita Samanta, Pro-Vice Chancellor and other senior functionaries on 16th September 2020.
Inaugurating the new batch, Prof. Achyuta Samanta advised the newly admitted students to make use of the various opportunities available at KIIT & KISS to excel in their life. Prof. Hrushikesha Mohanty discussed the emerging responsibilities of rural and agribusiness management professionals. Prof. Sasmita Samanta explained the wide spectrum of options available to the students of KSRM.
Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT DU informed about the different facilities available in the University for all-round development of the students. Earlier welcoming the newly admitted students, Prof. Nishith Parida, Director, KSRM briefed about the different student-centric initiatives taken in KSRM. Prof. Damodar Jena, Chairperson of Ph.D. & MBA-RM Programmes of KSRM proposed the vote of thanks.
As many as 122 students attended the inaugural ceremony over the Zoom platform. All the faculty members and select members of the staff attended the inauguration ceremony in person by maintaining social distancing norms.
